Funny Things I’ve found on the Internet, and one that made me grumpy.

Those of us on the East Coast are endrenched in a crappy winter storm right now.  It’s quite yucky.  In light of this weather crappiness, I needed to find some amusing thing on the Internet that would brighten my otherwise gray day, literally.  Here are some of those things that made my day a little brighter.

Coffeerama:  Coffee Fiend, the writer of this blog, actually commented on mine this morning, and I always check out other people’s stuff if they commented.  Being a coffee-related site, I immediately started to check it out.  Everything coffee.  I’m glad someone out there is promoting this great elixir of life!

NextRound.net:  This site was a wonderful discovery that is probably going to go into my regular reading schedule in the morning.  NextRound makes fun of everything stupid out there.  And there is a lot of stupid out there.  For an example of  some stupider things in life, check out this NextRound article.

Skier left Dangling from Chairlift:  I know I shouldn’t laugh at someone else’s misfortune, but this was just so unusual.  Be careful, there are skier-butt pictures here.

Now for grumpy time.  So much for barring Roland Burris, Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s choice to fill Obama’s seat.  It looks like talks are happening to resolve the situation.  Blago got his way, but at least the Feds are on to him.  This guy should really resign.  I guess Blago was so calm about the whole thing because he knew he would get his way here.  I doubt he’ll get his way in his big laundry list of crimes, though.

At least people stood up against Burris and Blago at first, but I can see how the Senate would want to resolve this without a scene.  Come election time, let the people of Illinois decide.
