Israeli Settlers Shouldn’t Back Down
News articles like this really disturb me. I guess it’s because I don’t like people being torn away from their homes.
Israel is for the Jews. Palestinians, feel free to live there, but realize that this is the Jew’s Promised Land. Jehovah promised it to his chosen race, and the Jews are STILL his chosen race today. The Arabs took over Palestine by force hundreds of years ago, but that does not change the fact that that little sliver of land belongs to the Jews.
I get very nervous when our world leaders talk about a Palestinian state. They have one, and it’s Israel and they are free to live there. I feel that promising land that divinely belongs to someone else is a very bad idea.
It’s also strange to me that the Jews have to face such hatred by the Arabs because they inhabit Palestine since the Arabs cover so much of that land themselves. Who cares if another race inhabits a very small fraction of it? But no, we have hateful rhetoric, violence, and broken promises.
After the Diaspora, or the scattering of the Jews throughout the world, some Jews did remain behind in Israel with no problem. During WWII, we run into some problems. The Jews wanted their home back and were promised it by the Allies for their support. The Arabs wanted that land and the Axis promised them Palestine. See where we run into some trouble? Besides the racial and religious strains, we also have larger countries playing these groups off each other, and for that we should be ashamed.
As a nation, the U.S. needs to remain Israel’s strong ally because they are God’s chosen people. They are the longest running democracy in the Middle East and we need their support in that area of the world and they need us.
I am a Christian, but I also have a Jewish background. The God of the Jews is the God of the Christians, with Jesus being the difference. And He was Jewish, too. I could dig deeper into this, but I won’t. The one thing that Israel MUST improve upon is its treatment of the Palestinian Christians. This is also the birthplace of Christianity and they must treat them better, give them more freedoms, and allow them to take care of Christian historical sites.
I know this is a heated topic for many, but realize this is my opinion, and I’m entitled to it, as you are entitled to yours.

Well, Obama went on his apologetic tour over there last week and that certainly was not good at all. He has made it clear that we are not a Christian Nation. I believe Obama is an antichrist paver. I have studied the Book of Revelation well and it says that all will be against Isreal in the end, but Isreal with prevail, but not before all being decieved by peace. I do pray for Isreal and yes that land belongs to the Jews, his chosen people. Isreal will also get it’s act together and God will purify that land. I can not even tell you how bad I want to go over there. There are days that I think about selling my home and all and just going over there, willing to die a soldier for the Lord. I have noticed that since Obama took office that many are leaving Christianity, there have been so many blogs about people walking away from their faith in the HOT POST section of Word Press. So we need to continuously pray for one another and Isreal.

Yeah, I didn’t like his ME tour at all myself. I mean, we don’t want to come off as hostile to the Muslims, but we have to stand our ground and not grovel.
I’m afraid of Obama because he is so charismatic and people believe anything that he says. I’ve been wary of him since he became a senator. I believe you may be right.
What’s happening over there certainly does coincide with John’s prophecy, doesn’t it? (I have a postcard from Patmos where he lived. I keep it in my Bible. It has the three cracks when God spoke in the cave! I digress.)
What the Muslims need to realize is that when Israel goes to war with God as their banner, they crush their enemies. I mean, when the Israelites were SO FEARED in the Bible when they were clearing out the Holy Land for settlement, people just gave up and ran because of the God of Israelites.
The only time Israel has lost wars is when God felt it was time to teach them a lesson, but he always brought them home again. Now, I’m thinking of Nebuchanezzar and guys like that. And the Jews still profoundly affected whoever they came in contact with in those foreign lands.
Absolutely, we need to hold each other and Israel up in prayer because these are difficult times. People need to put their hope in Jesus, not Obama.

The people of the great United States are so thirsty that they will drink anything, so Obama goes down smooth for so many that are blind and in the mean time while he is schmoozing everyone our constitution is being dismantled right under our noses. The Secular Media did not tell anyone about the 8ft Cross that is in the middle of the Mohavie Desert that has been there for about 70 years in honor of our veterans is being threatened and fought over soon in our Supreme Court. If this little cross goes, the rest of them come down. Things sure are getting unsettling. As far as Muslims go……. They already have the ability to take over the world and will do so and they don’t have to send a bomb or nuke…….
Have you noticed that the fastest Religion growing in the U.S. is Islam? I want to preach the gospel to them, such a hard thing, ya know?

You are right about Obama going down smooth and you are right about groups like the ACLU waging war against Christianity through the guise of the laws and right originally written by men of God. The ACLU constantly takes the 1st Amendment to far extremes and does not properly interpret it. Here’s an entry I did a while back on the 1st Amendment.: http://jenndixon.wordpress.com/2008/09/09/bill-of-rights-1st-amendment-separation-of-church-and-state/
That video is scary. Yes, the gospel MUST be spread to the Muslim people. The prospects are frightening.

It’s very sickening to know that xenophobes such as yourself propagate their Zionist rhetoric free of challenging antithetical views.
Palestine is and shall always be for the Palestinians and even the JEWS agree:

I would love to see the Palestinians and Jews get along but that will never happen. I do not see myself as “antiethical” and I understand that both are Semites. I just go with what I believe the Bible says about Israel and if you don’t agree with that, I’m sorry. Since we both have drastically different view points, let’s agree to disagree.

Antithetical,not antiethical…
I suggest you read up on Anti-zionist Jews and why they completely disagree with your “biblical” fallacy.
